When action figure fans are ready to move beyond the tough and simple little hard-plastic characters, the Gundam collection makes for a fun and challenging alternative. While perhaps not as rugged or able to stand up to being hurled around the room as the average He-Man or Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Gundams like Jagd Doga here possess a much more advanced level of articulation. Move his wrists, elbows, shoulders, and knees to form any number of poses, all of which are complemented by oversize feet, which make standing much easier. Except for his tiny birdlike head, Jagd Doga looks like an impressive warrior carrying a semitranslucent sword and what looks like a machine gun. Like any Gundam figure, his parts are easily detached and although that means he falls apart if battled with too roughly, it also means that his components can be combined with other similar figures. --Charlie Williams
