With her knees and hips that bend and turn to mimic classical dance moves, the Ballet Barbie doll moves with grace and precision. She can do splits, high kicks, back kicks, deep bends, and even flexible curtsies for her audience. The only thing this Barbie can't do is stand or move without a bit of help. The doll has two (pink and purple) ballet outfits with glittered tutus, a tiny clothes hanger, and a wee bouquet of post-performance roses. She also wears a removable pair of pink pointe shoes. They fit like a glove, thanks to Barbie's perpetually pointed feet, and tie around her dainty ankles. This also means she can sport her traditional high heels (if you have them) on her way from the Met. This toy contains small parts, not for kids under 3 years old. --Diane Beall
