I never thought that Barbie actually ate, but here, the super-slim gal is grocery shopping with her younger sister, Kelly. Down the produce aisle, they can stock up on any of nine plastic fruits and vegetables, such as pineapple, bell pepper, and broccoli. A stroll through the refrigerated section offers 13 boxed products, including eggs, pizza, crackers, and cookies. The set's cardboard packaging doubles as the store's interior, while two plastic units provide shelving for the foodstuff and a checkout counter, complete with cash register. Barbie is wearing a floral pink dress with matching pink sandals and earrings. Kelly emulates her big sister at a young age, dressed in a similar outfit. The included grocery cart has a pink basket, a seat up front for Kelly, handles that fit on Barbie's wrists for pushing, and wheels that really roll. And no Barbie set would be complete without the ever present pink plastic hairbrush that keeps the two girls well groomed. -Pam Lauer
