The cute little engine in this set--bright green, with red wheels, and a magnetic coupling at the back--runs on battery power and has its own center headlight. (Just flip the red switch atop the driver's cab.) Better still, it has a little concealed button under the front wheels: run it across the included 4-by-4.25-inch "autostop" track unit, and how you position the track-side lever will determine whether it stops or not. If you do command a stop, just switch the lever and the train chugs away again.
