In a raspy hip-hop voice, Urban Girl Tia--a member of the Diva Starz lineup of interactive dolls--introduces herself as "hip, cool, chic." Thanks to a computer chip in her large (but pretty) head, her mouth lights up and her eyelashes bat when she talks, and she holds limited conversations by way of "yes" and "no" buttons on her feet. Tia wears interactive clothes that snap-on in the front, telling her what to say and how to respond--mainly about girlie stuff. Ankle-length black hair conceals the fact that she's only wearing undies on her backside. She comes with three interactive outfits, a hairbrush, toy electronic gadgets, and a pet puppy in a basket. Diva Starz are a great interactive offering by Mattel, but be mindful that every time you turn the doll off, she must be reset--which can become a bit tedious.
