Editorial Review Kids will soon be developing a whole new vocabulary with this skateboard, that of grinding, scraping, and grabbing. Although such actions will undoubtedly trail behind each new word--if they ever materialize--as this board is more a fancy toy than tool for the extreme-sports enthusiast. The skateboard is constructed from laminate board. It measures 28 inches and curves up gently at each end. The top is covered in black traction tape, which feels like a cross between sandpaper and tarpaper. The cream-colored poly wheels are held in place by rugged plastic (not metal) axle-and-kingpin truck assemblies. But the star of this skateboard is undoubtedly its underside: Vegito of Dragon Ball Z fame--with his beak of a nose, squinty blue eyes, and thick blond locks--graces the back of the board three times.
